Housefly Hum is a Montreal band known for blending high‐energy performance with rich, melodic texture. Since forming in 2018, Lawrence Di Iorio (vocals), Domenico Carbone (guitar/vocals), Michael McDonald (bass), and Raymond Farina (drums) haveshaped a sound built on soulful vocals, gritty guitar lines, and a
rhythmic pulse that hits with urgency and character. Their influences stretch from Arctic Monkeys and The Black Keys to Led Zeppelin and The Beatles, giving their music a balance of classic spirit and modern edge.
Their debut EP Morning Light introduced a dynamic mix of groove and atmosphere, paving the way for newer singles There She Goes, Sharp Razors, and Modern Man. These releases highlight a band evolving with intention—leaning into bigger hooks, deeper moods, and a sonic identity that feels both familiar and forward‐moving. Housefly Hum continues to carve out space in Montreal’s indie‐rock landscape
through electrifying shows and songs that linger long after the last note.
