Giulia Ghirlanda – Alessandra Novelli – Feat Mistheria

Details

Alessandra Novelli, aka Aleen, born in Rieti (Italy) in 1974, began studying music and singing at a young age, specializing as a soloist and backing vocalist.

After several experiences on Italian stages with various groups, including her latest tour with “Quei bravi ragazzi” by Diego Brunetti, aka La Signora Gilda, we met and appreciated her on Canale 5 as a finalist, along with her daughter and talented young singer Giulia Ghirlanda, on the Mediaset television program “Io Canto Family” 2024, hosted by Michelle Hunziker. The show was a huge success with viewers and went viral on digital platforms, with over four million views by the end of 2025.

With Giulia, in 2024, they recorded their own single, “Insieme,” produced by Rossodisera Records.

In 2003, she participated in the tour of artist Monica Cherubini in a show dedicated to her fellow citizen, the renowned singer-songwriter Lucio Battisti. It was there that she first met and worked with renowned pianist Mistheria (keyboardist for Bruce Dickinson, the legendary vocalist of Iron Maiden), with whom she formed the Dreamlight Duo, an acoustic ensemble that performs well-known international film songs with original arrangements specifically created for this group.

Alessandra has also had experience in film and advertising, including the Enel commercial directed by Giuseppe Tornatore, and in theater.

She currently continues to participate in events with her daughter Giulia and performs concerts with the Dreamlight Duo.
