From Montreal, headed by acclaimed Canadian guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer Tino Izzo along with longtime partner, drummer Bob Telaro. This sharp-edged blues project, dubbed IZZO BLUES COALITION (IBC) is joined by seasoned industry veteran bassist Domenic Romanelli, and the amazing spit-fire (blue haired) lead vocalist Annie Major-Matte that tops off this quartet and delivers on its promise of a “Genuine live music experience”.
This powerhouse unit is solid and Izzo’s guitar IQ is through the roof. Annie‘s vocal delivery is classic and powerful. Her vocabulary is way beyond her years. Their covers of Johnny Winter, Etta James and Albert King amongst many others, sit seamlessly alongside their original material, proving their versatility and talent.
Izzo shows all the nuances of his guitar sound where his compelling fingerpicking technique and immaculate playing are front and center.
