With her show Mes bananes vertes (My Green Bananas), Cathy Fuoco takes spectators on an emotional journey, recounting her experiences as a woman and all the roles that accompany her. She touches on her Italian origins, her role as a mother, and her divorce in a tender and humorous manner. A true ball of energy, the artist also shares several anecdotes on lighter topics such as yoga, her private swimming lessons, and the “karma sutra.”
Since 2017, she has been teaching improvisation to high school students. In 2019, she wrote her first solo show, Mes bananes vertes, with the assistance of Diane Jules. The Québécois comedian, of Calabrian origin, entrusted the direction of the show to Joël Legendre (known for Bodyguard, Eve Côté, Rock of Age) for her debut performance.
