Montreal born singer-songwriter Gianni Bodo has been writing, recording and performing music for over 2 decades, showcasing his unique ability to sing in three languages. Renowned for his high profile collaborations with, among others, Juno award winning producer and songwriter Pierre Marchand (Sarah McLachlan, Rufus Wainwright), Gianni’s debut solo outing, Fade to Rose, touted him as one of 2014’s biggest music revelations and was featured on Musique Plus by Quebec’s most esteemed music critic, Claude Rajotte. Released in the midst of the global pandemic, Hurricanes and Butterflies, piled up rave reviews and radio play around the world. In 2021, Si Je Pars, his first commercial French language single, co-written with 80’s blockbuster songwriter Nicholas Eede (I Just Died in Your Arms), charted across Quebec and became the first French language single to reach the finals in the history of Canadian Music Week. In the past year, Gianni has delivered three new video singles in each of his spoken tongues, featuring Rimani Nell’ Ombra, his first official Italian release. The latter receiving a worldwide premiere in Italy on Radio Delta 1.
