Claudia Lenti is a second-generation Italian singer from Montreal with strong Latin influences. Raised with the Italian customs, she discovered Latin culture and music at a young age as she traveled to various South American countries such as Venezuela, Cuba, Mexico, and Dominican Republic. Aside from her passion for singing, she has also been dancing Salsa and Bachata for the last ten years and is fluent in Italian, Spanish, English and French. In 2021 she released her first Pop-Rock single called, Bye Bye Boy, and since then, she has released many singles and has immersed herself in various genres of music, working with different producers to define her musical diversity and authenticity. Her mission is to be a role model for women but also to unite different cultures and bring people together, especially given that Montreal is multicultural.
In 2022, she performed for Italfest in Little Italy as she presented her original music and some Italian covers that were converted into Salsa and Bachata. Claudia knew that Italians love a good party and enjoy dancing and her idea to fuse the two cultures together was a success and came with a lot of applause and recognition. In 2023 she released her first album called, City’s on Fire, produced by Stephen Voyce. In March 2024, she launched her first Bachata, Pero Aqui Estas Tu, a song that received incredible support and positive feedback from the dance community and DJ’s in Montreal. She was also mentioned in articles in Spain and Columbia. Throughout the years, she has been interviewed on different radio stations and television programs such as CBC, ICI Television, Mike FM, and more recently, her first Salsa, No Quiero Mas produced by Ricky Campanelli, was aired on Dominic Hudson’s show on 103.3FM.
After accomplishing so much in little time, Claudia’s next goal was to create her own band with the idea of fusing Latin and Italian culture together. Many Italian ballads have become huge Salsa hits over the last 30 years and there is no doubt in the love and similarities that exists between both cultures. She is on her way to accomplishing her dolce vita and so naturally, she will be performing in Quartier des Spectacles on August 9, 2024 at 8pm with her band called Claudia Lenti y Dulce Vita.
